western alexander county in the piedmont of north carolina,
northern caldwell county in western north carolina...
* until 715 PM EDT
* at 604 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail, and
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near
aho, or near blowing rock, and moving southeast at 15 mph.
* the severe thunderstorm will impact locations near,
kings creek.
