Cherokee County in southeastern Kansas... Jasper County in southwestern Missouri... * Until 915 PM CDT Friday * At 911 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Additional moderate to heavy rain is moving in from the west, and will cause widespread flash flooding to occur over Cherokee and Jasper counties. * Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially susceptible to the dangers of flash flooding.
