Southern Tulsa County in northeastern Oklahoma... * Until 245 PM CDT * At 1148 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. 1-2 inches of rain has fallen across the warning area...and excessive runoff will result in flash flooding over the next few hours. * Some locations that may experience flooding include... Tulsa... Broken Arrow... Sand Springs... Claremore... Owasso... Bixby... Sapulpa... Jenks... Glenpool... Coweta... Catoosa... Verdigris... Inola... Kiefer... Mounds... Oneta... Gray... Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch will be possible.. While rainfall rates are expected to taper off this afternoon...runoff from current and previous rainfall will result in ongoing runoff across the warned area.
