application originating from sources listed below. 
Unless otherwise specified, references to organizations herein does not imply endorsement of data or services 
of the respective organizations or of weatherUSA by the organizations.</p>


<h2>Place Names</h2>
<p>Place Names are sourced from a database managed by weatherUSA. The database contains, in part, names from 
the <a href="http://geonames.usgs.gov/domestic/index.html">Geographic Names Information System</a> (GNIS) produced by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). 
</p>

<h2>National Weather Service data</h2>

The following data are produced by the National Weather Service (NWS), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA):

	<li>Model Analyses and Guidance from the GFS, NAM, RAP, and HRRR models</li>
	<li>Weather Alerts containing the label "National Weather Service" in the header</li>

<h2>Surface Observations</h2>

<p>Surface weather observations are collected from a multitude of sources. The primary source of data is the 
NOAA <a href="http://madis.noaa.gov/">Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System</a> (MADIS). MADIS collects observations 
through third-party networks which are listed at <a href="http://madis.noaa.gov/network_info.html">MADIS Surface Network Information</a>. 
We thank the MADIS Team and the third-party networks for making available this data.

<p>No warranties are expressed or implied regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information provided. 
Data users are cautioned to consider the provisional nature of the data before using it for decision making. Mesonet data, in particular, 
should be considered experimental and not always reliable or accurate. NOAA does not own or operate Mesonet sites and is not responsible for 
site maintenance or data accuracy. The user assumes the entire risk related to use of the data. NOAA and its data providers disclaim 
liability of any kind whatsoever, including, without limitation, liability for quality, performance, merchantability and fitness 
for a particular purpose arising out of the use, or inability to use the data.</p>

<p>weatherUSA operates a small subset of weather stations that report to the MADIS network under the "APRSWXNET" provider tag. With the exception of 
these stations, weatherUSA does not own or operate Mesonet sites and is not responsible for
