A band of snow over the lakeshore is tracking east and producing snowfall rates of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour resulting in quick accumulations and reduced visibilities around 1 mile. These higher rates are expected to last 30 to 60 minutes over any one location. Expect impacts to the morning commute. Give yourself extra time this morning and take it slow.
