Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Pocatello ID 120 PM MDT Mon Jun 8 2026 ...BRIEF STRONG WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH FRONTAL PASSAGE OVERNIGHT... A cold front shifting through East Idaho during the overnight hours will produce brief strong gusty winds with gust potential around 45 mph across the Snake Plain and adjacent areas. The strongest winds are expected between 1 AM and 5 AM. Showers and a thunderstorm or two may also accompany the front with light precipitation.
