The National Weather Service in missoula has extended the

* flash flood warning for going to the sun road in glacier national 
park in northern flathead county in northwest montana.

* until 215 PM MDT.

* at 1254 PM MDT, doppler radar indicated moderate rain continuing 
to fall over the going to the sun road in glacier national park. 
this additional rainfall runoff could continue to trigger rock 
slides and bring flooding water onto the road.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a flash flood warning means that flooding, mud and debris flows are
imminent or occurring. if you are in the warning area move to higher
ground immediately. residents living along streams and creeks should
take immediate precautions to protect life and property.
