Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC 407 AM EDT Sat Apr 20 2024 ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING... ...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IS CANCELLED... * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning, especially around the time of the ongoing high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Compromise Street begins to flood in Annapolis. Flooding of much of the City Dock parking lot is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
