Special Weather Statement National Weather Service New York NY 642 AM EDT Thu May 2 2024 ...PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING... Patchy dense fog is being observed across southern CT, Long Island and portions of NYC and the Lower Hudson Valley, where visibilitiescan be as low as a quarter of a mile at times. The dense fog is expected to remain patchy, with visibilities likely improving by 9AM. Use caution if traveling this morning. Use low-beam headlights and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
