URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Great Falls MT 341 PM MST Wed Jan 13 2021 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Snow occurring. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph will cause the heavy wet snow to be wind-driven and will reduce visibility. * WHERE...Northern Rocky Mountain Front, mainly above 5500 feet. * WHEN...Until 9 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Those venturing into the backcountry will encounter severe winter weather conditions with powerful winds and heavy wet snow.
