For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 5 to 9 feet in the surf zone. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...Tidal areas in the New Jersey counties of Cape May, Atlantic and Ocean. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 9:00 PM Sunday. For the High Surf Advisory, until 4:00 AM Sunday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal waterways. Many roads become impassable. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion will occur. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore and into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional rounds of minor tidal flooding are possible into the new week. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
