URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Flood Watch National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA 1052 AM PST Fri Feb 2 2024 ...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties. * WHEN...From late Saturday night through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Creeks, streams, and smaller rivers, including the Ventura River, may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A very strong storm will move into southwest California later Saturday through Tuesday, with the heaviest period Sunday into Monday.
