URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Grand Forks ND 554 PM CST Thu Feb 8 2024 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch, low visibility and a light glaze of ice. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Minnesota and northeast North Dakota. * WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Multiple reports of rain soaked roads becoming very icy as rain transitions to snow.
