.Repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday brought 1 to 4 inches of rainfall to central and southern Indiana. Minor flooding is ongoing at most locations in the Wabash basin, and on the lower White River. The crest on the Wabash is currently near Montezuma, and on the White at Edwardsport.
Flooding on the Wabash and White rivers currently is expected to come to an end over the next week, but upcoming rainfall during the week has the potential to impact this expectation.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
