Northeastern Lenoir County in eastern North Carolina... Southeastern Pitt County in eastern North Carolina... * Until 1145 AM EDT. * At 845 AM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain and flooded roadways across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
