BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED Flash Flood Warning National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 929 PM MDT Sun Jul 21 2024 The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Central Socorro County in central New Mexico... * Until 1130 PM MDT. * At 929 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain moving south across the warned area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the area between Socorro and Luis Lopez. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
