Eastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 900 PM MST. * At 601 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated between 1.00 and 1.50 inches of rain in the last 30 minutes from thunderstorms in Redington Pass between the Catalina and Rincon Mountains. Rainfall runoff will rapidly drain into the upper reaches of both the Agua Caliente Wash and Tanque Verde Washes. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, especially in the drainages that drain into the Agua Caliente and Tanque Verde washes and portions of Redington Road. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
