BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED Flash Flood Warning National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 326 PM MDT Thu Aug 1 2024 The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico... * Until 630 PM MDT. * At 326 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms producing heavy rain north and east of Jemez Springs, including far western portions of the Cerro Pelado burn scar. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
