Southeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey... Northeastern Ocean County in southern New Jersey... * Until midnight EDT tonight. * At 921 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain in Point Pleasant Beach. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Another round of strong thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour is expected. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. * Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
