The south central City of Suffolk in southeastern Virginia... * Until 215 PM EDT. * At 138 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Hobbsville, or near Ryland, moving north at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Sunbury around 145 PM EDT. Suffolk around 155 PM EDT. Whaleyville around 200 PM EDT.
