URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Hanford CA 1247 PM PDT Sat Sep 14 2024 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM SUNDAY TO 5 PM PDT MONDAY ABOVE 8000 FEET... * WHAT...Snow expected above 8000 feet. Total snow accumulations of up to four inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Yosemite NP outside of the valley, Upper San Joaquin River, Kaiser to Rodgers Ridge and Kings Canyon NP Counties. * WHEN...From 11 PM Sunday to 5 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Prepare for winter weather conditions. There is a 40 percent chance of 2 inches or more of snow at Tuolumne Meadows with temperatures falling below freezing.
