Flood Advisory National Weather Service Seattle WA 1207 PM PST Wed Nov 13 2024 .An area of showers is producing locally heavy rain over the Kitsap Peninsula and Hood Canal area, moving northeastward towards the greater Seattle area and western Snohomish County. ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington, including the following counties, in northwest Washington, Island, Jefferson, Kitsap and Mason. In west central Washington, King, Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston. * WHEN...Until 315 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1205 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
