Total snow accumulations 1 to 2 feet in the most persistent lake snows. * WHERE...Northern Erie County. The greatest snow amounts in the Buffalo Metro area are expected across the nearby Southern Suburbs and possibly South Buffalo. Little, or no snow is expected across the Northtowns. * WHEN...From 7 AM Saturday to 7 PM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible in areas of heavy lake effect snow with deep snow cover on roads and extremely poor visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally heavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions just a few miles away.
