Additional snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches in most persistent snows. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Northern Erie, and Genesee Counties. * WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow will also reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands.
