Total snow accumulations 2 to 4 feet through the ENTIRETY of the prolonged event in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will result in areas of blowing snow at times. * WHERE...Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties. The greatest accumulations will be across the Tug Hill Plateau. * WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult at times, especially on secondary roads. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday morning commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
