URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX 1256 AM MST Thu Jan 9 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST /6 AM CST/ FRIDAY... * WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch lowlands to around three inches mountains. Ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph at the higher elevations. * WHERE...West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. * WHEN...Until 5 AM MST /6 AM CST/ Friday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.
