Additional snow accumulations 4 to 8 inches in the most persistent lake snows, bringing storm totals into the 6 to 12 inch range. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow. * WHERE...Northern Erie and Genesee Counties. The lake effect snow will focus mainly across the southern and southeast suburbs of Buffalo and southern Genesee County. * WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Tuesday. The heaviest snow and greatest impacts to travel will be this afternoon and evening. * IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult with snow covered roads.
