URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Cleveland OH 950 AM EST Tue Jan 14 2025 ...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches. * WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall amounts are expected over the northeastern part of Erie County. Snowfall rates of up to 1-2" per hour will be possible at times. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph Tuesday afternoon near the lakeshore. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
