Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Albany NY 852 AM EST Sat Feb 1 2025 ...BRIEF BURST OF SNOW THIS MORNING... An area of moderate to locally heavy snow has developed over the Capital District, Helderbergs, northern and central Taconics, and the upper mid Hudson Valley this morning. The snow will continue until 11 am and then diminish. Total snowfall amounts will range from a coating to an inch. Visibilities may lower to under a half mile in the snow. Any untreated surfaces may become slippery. Use caution if traveling on the roads driving this morning.
