BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Flood Warning National Weather Service Louisville KY 838 AM EDT Fri Apr 4 2025 ...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING... ...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Scott and Woodford. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 838 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
