URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Buffalo NY 411 AM EDT Tue Apr 15 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 PM EDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 3 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. Most of the accumulation will be across the higher terrain of the Tug Hill Plateau and western foothills of the Adirondacks. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 2 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Snow covered roads will result in slick travel conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Little if any accumulation across the lower elevations. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
