URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Billings MT 321 AM MDT Wed Apr 16 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO MIDNIGHT MDT THURSDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph. * WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and southeast Montana. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to midnight MDT Thursday Night. * IMPACTS...Roads, including interstates 90 and 94, may become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation will begin as rain then change to wet snow this evening. Heaviest snow is expected to fall late tonight through Thursday. Snowfall will be elevation dependent with higher elevations seeing more significant accumulations.
