BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED Flash Flood Warning National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 1236 AM CDT Thu Apr 24 2025 The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Jefferson County in southeastern Texas... South Central Orange County in southeastern Texas... * Until 330 AM CDT. * At 1236 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches per hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar.
