South central Deaf Smith County in the Panhandle of Texas... * Until 1030 PM CDT. * At 1001 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 5 miles northeast of Bootleg, or 17 miles north of Friona, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
