Flash Flood Statement National Weather Service Norman OK 1103 PM CDT Tue Apr 29 2025 ...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM CDT WEDNESDAY FOR CLEVELAND, SOUTHEASTERN LOGAN AND OKLAHOMA COUNTIES... At 1103 PM CDT, Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that northbound I-35 is shut down due to flooding at I-44 in the north OKC. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area...but rainfall rates are decreasing. Runoff will result in continued flash flooding. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
