Southeastern Smith County in northeastern Texas... * Until 945 PM CDT. * At 542 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches possible in the warned area through 945 pm, as additional strong thunderstorms containing heavy rainfall continue to develop near and east of Waco and move northeast over the same areas of East Texas.
