Southeastern Cass County in northeastern Texas... Northern Cherokee County in northeastern Texas... Southern Gregg County in northeastern Texas... Harrison County in northeastern Texas... Marion County in northeastern Texas... Panola County in northeastern Texas... Rusk County in northeastern Texas... Southeastern Smith County in northeastern Texas... * Until 945 PM CDT. * At 542 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches possible in the warned area through 945 pm, as additional strong thunderstorms containing heavy rainfall continue to develop near and east of Waco and move northeast over the same areas of East Texas.
