URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Las Vegas NV 1256 AM PDT Sat May 10 2025 ...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 8 PM SUNDAY... * WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected. 1 to 3 foot waves expected on Lake Mead and 2 to 3 foot waves on Lake Mohave. * WHERE...Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. * WHEN...From 8 AM PDT /8 AM MST/ to 8 PM PDT /8 PM MST/ Sunday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...After a lull in winds and waves Sunday night, gusty winds and choppy waves are expected again on Monday which may lead to additional hazardous boating conditions. Please check the forecast for updates if you have plans on Lake Mead or Lake Mohave on Monday.
