Flood Advisory National Weather Service Miami FL 817 PM EDT Mon May 12 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following counties, Broward and Palm Beach. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 815 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the thunderstorms have moved east into the Atlantic waters. This area has received 1 to 2 inches of rainfall from the latest thunderstorms. This amount of rainfall will take sometime to drain away. Therefore, the flood advisory will remain in placed until 9 PM EDT this evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, West Palm Beach, Pompano Beach, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Tamarac, Wellington, Margate, Lake Worth, Lighthouse Point, Palm Beach, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Highland Beach and Ocean Ridge. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
