URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Sacramento CA 1201 PM PDT Thu May 15 2025 ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM SUNDAY TO 8 PM MONDAY FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR FIRE ZONES 215,216,217,218 AND 219 BELOW 1000 FEET... The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low humidity, which is in effect from 8 AM Sunday to 8 PM PDT Monday. * Winds... North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected. Strongest winds are expected across the northern and central Sacramento Valley along and west of Interstate 5. * Humidity...15 to 25 percent * Highest Threat...Northern and central Sacramento Valley along and west of Interstate 5. * Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity.
