URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Lincoln IL 142 PM CDT Fri May 16 2025 ...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph this afternoon. West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph this evening. * WHERE...Marshall, McLean, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, Woodford, and Knox Counties. * WHEN...Until 11 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For rural locations where little to no rain fell on Thursday, blowing dust may result in localized diminished visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
