URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Salt Lake City UT 303 PM MDT Sat May 17 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 6 PM MDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 5 to 10 inches above 8000 feet, locally up to 15 inches in the upper Cottonwoods above 10,000 feet. * WHERE...The Wasatch Mountains, Western Uinta Mountains, and Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs. * WHEN...From 3 AM to 6 PM MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong cold front will bring a band of moderate to heavy snow early Sunday morning into early Sunday afternoon. Snow will shift to a showery mode in northwest flow Sunday afternoon, with the heaviest additional accumulations in areas that do well in northwest flow. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
