WATCH COUNTY NOTIFICATION FOR WATCHES 305/308 NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 731 PM EDT TUE MAY 20 2025 The National Weather Service has issued tornado watch 308 in effect until 2 AM EDT wednesday for the following areas in georgia this watch includes 13 counties in north central georgia cherokee dawson fannin forsyth gilmer lumpkin pickens union in northwest georgia bartow floyd gordon murray whitfield this includes the cities of blairsville, blue ridge, calhoun, cartersville, chatsworth, cohutta wilderness, colwell, cumming, dahlonega, dalton, dawsonville, dial, ellijay, epworth, hemp, higdon, jasper, rome, and woodstock.
