South Central Garfield County in southern Utah... * Until 515 PM MDT. * At 207 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area...specifically the upper Escalante River Canyon and Death Hollow. The thunderstorm producing intense rainfall is moving downstream within the Escalante River Canyon towards Calf Creek and Phipps Wash. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen with this storm. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.
