URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Flood Watch National Weather Service Albany NY 1104 AM EDT Fri Jun 6 2025 ...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central New York, including the following areas, Eastern Ulster and Western Ulster and southern Vermont, including the following areas, Bennington, Eastern Windham and Western Windham. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - With a humid air mass in place, repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms with heavy downpours on Friday will lead to an increased risk for flash flooding.
