Flood Watch National Weather Service Buffalo NY 656 PM EDT Mon Jun 9 2025 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of western New York, including the following counties, Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Southern Erie, Wayne and Wyoming. * WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A slow moving cold front will track across Western and North Central New York late this afternoon and evening, with the potential for heavy rain.
