Flash Flood Statement National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA 449 PM EDT Sun Jun 15 2025 ...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR SOUTHEASTERN ALLEGHENY, EAST CENTRAL WASHINGTON AND WEST CENTRAL WESTMORELAND COUNTIES... At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.7 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
