URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 146 AM MDT Mon Jun 16 2025 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Temperatures up to 102 expected. * WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area. * WHEN...From noon today to 7 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
