Flood Statement National Weather Service Buffalo NY 417 AM EDT Thu Jun 19 2025 ...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...For areas along Irondequoit Creek in Monroe County. * WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 402 AM EDT, Between 3 and 4 inches of rain has fallen from earlier thunderstorms within the Irondequoit Creek water basin. This has pushed the gauge on Irondequoit Creek near Blossom Road to 9.6 feet. Continued run-off will maintain water levels producing minor flooding along the creek through the morning hours today. Flooding is expected within Ellison Park. The water level on Irondequoit Creek is expected to slowly recede through the day. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
