URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Quad Cities IA IL 237 AM CDT Fri Jun 20 2025 ...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 8 PM CDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values up to 105 expected. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois, east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and northeast Missouri. * WHEN...From noon Saturday to 8 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heat impacts will be worsened by several consecutive days of sweltering temperatures, with little relief overnight as lows will only be in the mid to upper 70s. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
