URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Binghamton NY 219 PM EDT Fri Jun 20 2025 ...EXTREME HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to or exceeding 105 degrees possible. * WHERE...In New York, Broome, Chemung, Onondaga, Schuyler, Sullivan, Tioga, and Tompkins Counties. In Pennsylvania, Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northern Wayne, Pike, Southern Wayne, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest temperatures and heat indices are likely to occur in the valley locations.
